Nathan Cranford is from the great state of Florida. He graduated from the University of North Florida with a BA in English and a minor in Foreign Relations.
Nathan worked for the Florida Department of Corrections as a correctional officer for five years. While with the FLDOC, he was responsible for the internal security of the prison including checking the perimeter of the compound, fences, and alarms. He participated in training many new correctional officers in correct search, intake, and transport techniques. He was part of the transport squad which transported and supervised inmates from low-custody level through death-row to appointments around the state of Florida. Nathan was also part of the rapid response and cell extraction teams for the prison.
After moving to Utah, he joined the team at Kane and began working as a supervisor in the regional event security division where he ran events ranging from small parties to concerts and festivals with attendance in the tens of thousands. Currently, he is part of the management team which handles security for events across the United States and internationally. He has run events in Europe as well as in multiple locations across the United States. He also heads up the planning and logistics division for Kane’s national and international interests.
Mr. Cranford has also been privileged in attending and participating in numerous trainings with federal and local law enforcement on subject such as IED recognition, riot training and arrest techniques, and site and personal protection.
